"Love Offerings" to benefit the Acacia Childrens Project in Kenya: Friday November 20

One of our international projects, Acacia Childrens Project, has a fundraiser each year to support the needs of HIV orphan children of Embu Kenya.  The project works to support the grandmothers who are raising their grandchildren, as well as supports the childrens education. Acacia has also worked to purchase farm land and farm animals to assist the community in meeting their needs.  Please visit the project website at www.acaciaproject.com for more information.  (It is also listed under our project tab on this web site).  (blog continued--read on)

The Acacia Fundraiser "Love Offerings" is being held on Friday November 20 at Whistlers at 995 Braodview Avenue at the corner of Mortimer Avenue. The tickets are $30.00 which includes admission and food.  There will also be dancing, an auction, as well as sales of various goods from the community.

Please contact Inez Ayers at 416 732-8102 or Natalie Capone at 416 964 3380 to purchase tickets.  Also, if you would like to donate items for the auction supporting the event, please let us know.

This project has provided care and security to some of the most vulnerable children in our world.  Your support will ensure that these children will be able to grow up educated, well and happy.

What is a SWOT Team?

I hope everyone is having a wonderful fall season. We at PCWF have been somewhat affected by the Flu, but seem to have been able to get through this nasty bug that is affecting everyone.
